PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT) figured that the gold production between 2010 and 2012 will be lower. Newmont Nusa Tenggara President Director said the average percentage of the company's production will be around 67.78 percent because, "the land concession of Elang Dodo mines which should have issued in 2005 was only given in 2009," he said in Jakarta on Monday, Nov 30.
According to him, the production by 2010 will reach 771.104 ounces; 261.992 ounces in 2011; and 80.482 ounces in 2012. In addition, he said, the decrease in the production will go hand-in-hand with the gold sales.
Meanwhile, according to Martiono, copper production will fall by an average of 39.765 percent between 2010 and 2012: 572.2874 ounces in 2010, 265.124 ounces in 2011, and 196.669 ounces in 2012. "Silver will have a decline by 56.62 percent," said Martiono.
On the other hand, this year's net income will multiply thrice as much as 2008 from US$194.099 million to US$642.900 million.
However, this year's investment fell by 47.04 percent compared to 2008 of US$82.952 million to US$43.931 million.
