The Indonesian Corruption Watch launched a new call for the Corruption Eradication Commission to dig into people involved in the conspiracy talks with the mastermind of the plot against the commission including names mentioned in the conversations. Coordinator Danang Widoyoko said on Friday “all names emerged in the records should be questioned, even the police who handled the case of Chandra – Bibit (the two framed anti-graft deputies).”
Several names mentioned or people involved in the conversations including Junior Attorney General on Intelligence Wisnu Subroto, former Investigation and Crime Chief, Anggoro Widjojo, Putranevo (Director of PT Masaro radiokom), Ong Yuliana Gunawan, and David Angkawidjaja.
But actually there were other officials who were referred to with the official as well as unofficial acronym of their positions like Truno 1, Truno 3, number one, number two, even SBY and RI 1, which refer to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
In the conspiracy talks published nationwide on November 3rd during a hearing at the Constitution Court, Anggodo Widjojo guided his lawyer Bonaran Situmeang to overturn the bribe charge against his brother, Anggoro Widjojo into extortion and abuse of power charges against Chandra Hamzah and Bibit Rianto.
Anggoro was charged for corruotion in a procurement project atthe Forestry Department but escaped police arrest and is still at large.
